How We Grew a Brand from 2K to 85K Followers in Eight Months

The posting strategy and schedule behind 4,150 percent follower growth.

Pick two platforms and be good at them

Consistency beats coverage. Every platform rewards regular posting and punishes gaps, so two done properly outperforms five done occasionally.

Short form video carries the reach

Most organic reach on every major platform now runs through short video. It does not need to be expensive. Founder to camera clips and process footage outperform polished brand films in most categories.

Answer fast

A question answered within the hour converts noticeably better than the same answer two days later. Response time was the single biggest change we made in this account.

Watch branded search, not just followers

Follower count is easy to inflate and hard to bank. Branded search volume rising is the clearest sign the work is building real recognition.

What we posted, specifically

Roughly sixty percent short video, twenty five percent carousels answering common questions, and fifteen percent single images for announcements. Posting five to seven times a week on the primary platform and three on the secondary. Nothing about the mix was clever. The consistency is what did the work, and the account that had been posting sporadically for two years had already proved the alternative.

How social affected other channels

Branded search rose about forty percent over the same period, which made paid search cheaper because brand terms convert at a far lower cost per acquisition. Email list growth roughly doubled, since a proportion of new followers subscribed. This is the argument for social that gets missed when it is judged on direct conversions alone: it lowers the cost of everything else.

The posting schedule we settled on

Primary platform five to seven times a week, secondary three, with community replies handled every weekday morning and afternoon. The client batched filming once a fortnight and we edited weekly, which kept production sustainable without the account going quiet. The schedule mattered less than the fact that it never slipped, since every algorithm we work with treats consistency as a signal and gaps as a reason to stop distributing.

Everything above comes out of live client accounts rather than theory. If you would rather have it run on your business than read about it, we start with a free audit: two weeks, one channel, written findings that are yours to keep whether you hire us or not.

Common questions

Working with Wigital Marketing.

That is what the free audit is for. We look at your actual accounts and tell you which of these levers is available to you and roughly what it is worth, rather than recommending everything in the article. It takes two weeks and the written findings are yours whether you hire us or not.

We work with US businesses from established local operations through to national brands. The honest cut off is at the small end: if marketing spend is under a couple of thousand dollars a month, an agency fee eats too much of the budget and you are better served doing it in house with the guides on this blog.

We do not publish a rate card, because the same channel needs very different amounts of work at different revenue levels. Tell us your goals and what you are running now, we audit it, and you get a written quote priced against the scope your business actually needs.

No. Everything is month to month with no notice period and no exit fee. If we stop earning the work you should be able to leave the same week, and that constraint is deliberate.
